This is a current-state page. It describes what ChristmasCountdown.io stores in your browser today, not what a site like this one could store in future.

No analytics or advertising cookies

This site's own code sets no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies, and loads no analytics or ad tracking script. There is nothing to accept or decline, which is why you will not see a consent banner here. Pages that reserve space for future advertising are house promotion pointing at our advertising page, and they load no third-party code.

Browser storage the site does use

Some features remember a choice so the site is usable across visits. These use localStorage, which is browser storage on your own device rather than a cookie, and the values never leave your browser:

• the snow animation on or off preference,
• progress inside interactive tools, for example ticked items in the Christmas checklist.

Clearing your browser storage removes them. You lose only the saved preference, nothing else.

Technical cookies from hosting

Our hosting and content delivery layer may set strictly technical cookies needed to deliver and protect the site. These are not used to profile you or to build an advertising audience.

Links to other sites

When you follow a link to an outside site, that site can set its own cookies under its own policy. That happens after you leave this site and is outside our control.

If we introduce analytics, advertising or affiliate tracking, we will update this page and the privacy policy before those integrations go live, and add consent controls where they apply.
